The Problem

Be’er Sheva, a city known for its vibrant nightlife and student life, hides a thriving apartment party scene that’s mostly out of reach for those without the right connections. Only a small percentage manage to attend these exclusive events

The Solution

Creating a community, connects people to the best nightlife events in town, opening doors to parties and opportunities you wouldn’t find otherwise.

At the same time, ensuring high quality filtering that keep the almushim
( party poopers ) outside

The How

A platform that gathers community parties

A QR code placed at key points throughout the city

AR-based navigation system

The Research

It All Started With Ido.

A average student from Tel Aviv with a talent for growing a ponytail, chose Be’er Sheva for his studies after hearing about the city’s impressive nightlife

After a year and a half in the city, Ido feels like he’s missing something. He keeps going to the same 2-3 bars but struggles to fit into the party scene

Ido feels like he’s missing something. Everyone talks about Be’er Sheva’s nightlife, but he just can’t seem to find the variety everyone talks about

We bet you want us to remove the blur, sheesh he cutee.

As Aslis Be’er Sheva Locals

we went out and mapped the city’s nightlife, dividing it by areas. (It’s not a list of everything, but it covers most of it)

User Research

To deeply understand the needs and frustrations of our users, we go and interviewed students studying in Be’er Sheva.
All students was between the aged 18 and 35

Conclusion

Apartment parties are students’ top nightlife choice
cheap, vibey, and perfect for getting drunk.
So why is access so limited?

SO... We CrossOver (Stagadish)

We decided to change direction and focus on the world of apartment parties, aiming to solve the issue of their availability so that they are accessible to a wider audience.

Shit just about to get real

What exists

During the research, we discovered that there are only 2 existing platforms through which you can access apartment parties. One is a Facebook group (so 2015), and the other is a WhatsApp group

It’s clear that these groups aren’t exclusive to apartment parties, they’re mainly used to sell tickets to various events

In one scenario, the user hears about and joins a group,
in the other, they’re waiting for a personal invite

We Dive In

We decided to dive in and get to the root of the problem. Throughout our research, we attended numerous parties (purely for research purposes, of course), using the time to refine and focus on the true needs of our users

Key Features

Create Community

with an underground vibe (cult-style) that makes users feel like they’re part of something bigger

Audience Filtering

Quality target audience filtering that matches our vibe and keeps the
almushim (party poopers) out

AR Navigation

An AR system would guide users with real time directions, ensuring they find the party while keeping it exclusive

Keep It Cheap

It’s important to keep prices regulated to suit students and their financial situation

Create, Not Just Join

Not only to find parties, but also to give community members the ability to create their own and connect people

The Phygital Space

First

Hot milk, big glass, a lot of chocolate.
After that, we knew from the start that we needed an interesting logo, one that would catch the eye and spark curiosity

We explored many directions until we came across this

In Case You Didn't Know

This is the sign for a party in sign language, And it just fits us perfectly. It’s a language perfect for noisy environments, like parties, and one most people don’t understand

Now all that’s left is to add it some swag

Some of the sketches we accidentally didn’t delete

Course Of Action

Now that we have a logo, we needed to make it recognizable. Due to our underground vibe, social media ads were out of the question, so we decided to spread it across the
city in various ways to spark people’s curiosity

After sparking curiosity throughout the city, we placed our logo in key locations with potential audiences, such as bar restrooms and specific
spots on campus. This time, however, our logo served as a barcode that
led our audience directly to us.

The Design

Wireframes

Now we can start to build the wireframes to define the main structure and plan the app’s layout, shaping the journey from concept to final design

Audience Filtering

One of our main tasks was to maintain the vibe and atmosphere within the community. That’s exactly why we created the perfect personality test, those who pass it are more than worthy to party with us.

You probably think it’s impossible to fail, which is why we urge you to give it a try

Golden Flow

Quick, Cheap, Awosome

We designed the experience to be fast and smooth from login to party entry. The user browses events, and boom he got ticket in his hand.
No searches, no connections, just seamless navigation to the party.

Create Party

Making Sure You Keep The Vibe

Like any good community, we need to create. For those willing to host
(we salute you) we designed a system where, with a few clicks, users can create and share events, turning their home into the party’s center
