has all the necessary knowledge to care for the baby, can monitor the baby’s condition via a dashboard and stay in control even when not present. They enter tasks for secondary Guardians to ensure proper care.
Here in ‘’JohnJohn’’, we call them “Mom”.
Let’s talk dogri, tasks isn’t always fun.
So if caring for the baby isn’t motivation enough, we’ve put together a playful, enjoyable experience that will have you completing
tasks with a smile.
Special badges, iconic characters, and a social network are
just part of what we offer to make it more enjoyable for you.
A few months before I started the project, I became a father myself at 24, with no experience or knowledge in taking care of a child.
It happened on a day just like any other. All I had to do was keep an eye on him while he slept and my wife was out. But then he decided he was hungry completely off schedule (this was before we worked on his manners).
The result was 25 minutes of nonstop crying while I tried to figure out what he even eats and how to make it.

I held discussions to understand parents’ and caregivers’ needs, how they manage childcare and communication, and their response to our concept. (20 pairs of parents participated in the study).
Avrage age
First-time parents
Emphasized the importance of gamification.
Of secondary caregivers stressed the need for clear instructions
Said communication gaps cause mistakes
Found WhatsApp inconvenient for this.
Many (especially first-time) parents lack childcare knowledge. WhatsApp doesn’t bridge that gap they need a focused, distraction-free platform that’s also fun. Because, why not?
“On WhatsApp, everything is in bits and pieces and stuck; I write down things for you to do, then we talk about other things. It all gets mixed up with the conversation and things get forgotten.”
“I’m not really sure what to do with the kid, I don’t remember times, dosages, or all those mom things.”
I started researching apps with similar goals to mine, which allowed me to gather ideas and solutions to improve the user experience through various features.
That supports various caregivers and enables sharing experiences
give the primary caregiver a sense of control and calm, even when they’re not present
turns baby care tasks into enjoyable experiences that encourage persistence and cooperation
Suitable for all secondary caregivers
(Parents, siblings, grandparents, babysitters)
The ability to set and customize notifications individually based on tasks or events.
Out of a deep love for gamification, I was glad it came up in the interviews people resonated with it as a potential game-changer.
It was important to me to incorporate physical elements related to baby toys.
A sneak peek at a mood board inspired by toys.
At this point in the project, I’ve already reached the stage where I hate it and can’t even look at it.
At that time, I preferred doing anything but thinking about the project even watching a movie I’ve already seen a hundred times, like Deadpool.
And at that moment, everything clicked. Liam Neeson is actually a terrible dad I mean she got kidnapped three times. Now that’s the kind of caregiver we don’t want to be.
So what if we created a character system from the worst dad to the best characters that make you feel like you’re leveling up as a parent. A character that reflects your status and shows it off to the community.
Right then, the spark for the project came back. Now I needed to find an interesting visual reference for the characters that would fit our style.
Luckily, I still had the mood board from earlier.
After finding a visually interesting reference, the task was to find iconic mom and dad characters and rank them from the worst to the best.
Are characters enough to create engagement?
To avoid any guesswork about the app being just for kids, I also gave users badges to help them stay on track and celebrate milestones along the way.
Sumbit 30 complax tasks
Take child from kindergarten 20 times
Feed the child 20 times in soup
Change diapers 50 times
Task oversight and real-time updates on the child’s status, with the ability to assign tasks including an urgent task option that immediately alerts the current caregiver.
Clear and detailed guidance from the primary caregiver, along with feedback input and photo upload for monitoring and oversight.
Taking care of a child is motivation in itself but for those who need extra encouragement, I created characters and badges that can be collected by completing various tasks.
That I saved by accident so someone might as well see them.
